BENGALARU -- When Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi consecrated the Ram Mandir temple in Ayodhya in front of 7,000 guests and millions of television viewers last month, the spotlight was on a statue of Lord Ram as a 5-year-old boy.

For sculptor Arun Yogiraj, Ram Lalla -- lalla means "little boy" in Hindi -- was the commission of a lifetime.
